I was born in Kingman, AZ, and lived in Mohave County all my life before moving to Williams about five years ago. We have two adopted granddaughters, the oldest of which attends Williams Elementary. I was a police officer for the City of Kingman for 25 years, then an investigator for the County Attorney's Office for several more. We built a new home north of town, and enjoy the area a great deal. I did not have the extra time to be very involved when my children were growing up, and now I do, having retired. I think the WUSD has done a good job of avoiding controversy and non-educational topics. I look forward to helping it stay that way.

Dee Dee Mahan is a dedicated School Board Member for the Williams Unified School District. A proud graduate and alumni of Williams High School, Dee Dee has deep roots in the community, with two children who are also WHS alumni and six wonderful grandchildren. Continuing the family tradition, her father also graduated from WHS, further strengthening their connection to the school and community.

Currently serving as an Executive Assistant for the City of Williams, Dee Dee's role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from event planning to grant writing. She brings a wealth of experience from her previous role at the local dental office, where she served as an administrator and dental assistant for 17 years. During her time at the dental office, Dee Dee formed strong bonds and connections with all her patients, reflecting her commitment to service and community.

Outside of her professional life, Dee Dee enjoys spending time at the beach and cherishes every moment with her grandchildren. Her passion for family and community drives her dedication to improving the educational experience for all students in Williams USD.

Arizona born and raised, I have lived in Williams for more than 12 years collectively and have been settled here with my family since 2019. I have two sons in the Williams School system. Sitting on the Williams Little League board as President, I am proud to serve this community I love in yet another capacity!

Mr Romero has lived in Williams since 2010 and has four children who have attended school in Williams. Romero has also been active in coaching youth sports in the Williams community for many years. He has coached baseball and softball with Williams Little League and has coached football at Williams Middle School and Williams High School. He also coaches club softball.
