Greetings WUSD # 2 Families, We are aware of the multi-vehicle pileup on I-40 E near Parks. Our bus that goes to Parks (Red Bus, Route 1) will stay off of the 40 and take Garland Prairie to Deer Farm to Old Route 66 to get to Parks today. Roads may still be slick, backed up, and/or otherwise slow-traveled. Please be patient with us as we navigate your children home safely today. The crash on 64 N is past Valle and does not affect transportation for our buses today. Thank you.

Good afternoon WHS family, due to anticipated weather coming in and the lateness of basketball practices today and tomorrow, we are going to postpone the start of basketball practice for boys and girls to Monday, 11/7. The girls will practice from 4-6 and the boys from 6-8. Thanks for your support and Go Vikings.

Good morning.! I want you all to know that this Thursday we will be having a College Fair from 10-11:30 in the gymnasium. All juniors and seniors should attend. While we will be having quite a few schools I also wanted to tell you about a College and Career Fair that is happening at Coconino High School the same day from 2pm-6pm. I have attached a flyer for this and all students who attend school in Coconino County are allowed to attend. They will have over 45 schools and many other organizations. It's huge and I encourage attendance to that also as we usually get about 10-15 schools. Thank You, Mr. Powers

Good afternoon families. As the weather gets colder, I wanted to inform all families that WEMS has a large collection of new and gently used coats and boots for students who need them. Greetings WUSD # 2 Families & Community Members, We are pleased to announce that the process of filling our vacant WUSD # 2 Governing Board seat has reached its conclusion. A committee interviewed both candidates. The County School Superintendent will swear in Mr. Steve Auld as our newest Governing Board Member, filling the seat vacated by long-time member Herman Nixon. This is scheduled to take place on Oct 18. Once Mr. Auld is official with the County Superintendent’s Office, he will take the oath and then take his seat on the Board. Please help us in congratulating and welcoming Mr. Auld to the WUSD # 2 Family.
