Upward Bound will be here on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024 to support our Freshman parents and students on the Upward Bound application. It will begin at 6:00PM in the WHS Library. Please see the attached flyer for more information, and we look forward to seeing you there!

Parents and Students, we want to inform you of a temporary change due to a shortage of bus drivers. Tomorrow morning (12-02-2024) through Thursday morning (12-05-2024) there will be no morning driver for Route 2. As a result, the original pick-up times will be delayed by approximately 30 minutes. We kindly ask that all students be at their bus stops and ready to board by 7:40 a.m. To help things run smoothly, please ensure you arrive a few minutes early, as the driver will not be able to wait for late arrivals. The first bus will stop at 9th Street and Oak, then travel along Grant Street and Route 66. The second bus will pick up students along Sheridan and up 6th Street. The third bus will travel to the golf course area and around to Morse Steet. These stops may be closer to 8:00 a.m. If you prefer to drive your child to school during this period, please contact the office at (928) 635-4473 to let us know. Normal Route 2 morning service will resume on 12-09-2024. Currently, no changes have been made to our afternoon routes. However, that could change by tomorrow. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Congrats to our WEMS and WHS Students of the Month! Well done!

Greetings WUSD # 2: As we head into an extended, long holiday break, we wanted to take the time to wish each of you a happy and healthy Thanksgiving. Congrats to our WEMS Spelling Bee winners!!
