Please join us for Family Movie Night at the WEMS Cafeteria this Thursday, 3/3 6:00 pm featuring Clifford The Big Red Dog. WEMS PTSA will have concessions for sale. Movie will start at 6:10 pm. Admission is free for PTSA members. Otherwise, $10 per family. Please bring a canned food item if you are able to. Thank you.

Hello WHS community! We have successfully conducted a Fire drill today (2/28/22) at 1:11 PM at Williams High School.

WEMS will be getting some renovations as well this summer! Thanks to ESSER II dollars (not our regular budget), WEMS will be receiving new HVAC units with air ionization. District-wide, WUSD # 2 will also receive EMS Smart Controls for all HVAC units, conserving energy, being greener, & saving local taxpayer money. WEMS units are 18 years old with an avg. life expectancy of 15 years. We hope to secure a SFB project in the near future for HVAC at WHS. Stay tuned! Great things are happening at WUSD # 2! Greetings WUSD # 2 Families & Staff: In anticipation of this storm, WUSD # 2 is cancelling all school for WEMS and WHS for tomorrow (2/23/22). We hope this allows families a chance to plan and prepare for tomorrow. All offices will be closed as well within the district. Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great day! I just wanted to give an update for those of you who ordered Krispy Kreme's from the junior class. We have been having some communication issues with Krispy Kreme and they are short handed and having difficulty fulfilling our order. We expect to be able to deliver your order next week, but we don't have a confirmed date yet. I will let you know when I have more information to share! Hello ENG 101 & 102 Students & Families, CCC has extended the payment deadline for dual enrollment students until this Tuesday 2/15/22 at 3:00 PM. Unpaid students will be dropped for non-payment on Wednesday 2/16/22 at 8:00 AM. Students can pay in-person at the CCC Lone Tree Campus, the CCC 4th Street Campus, online via their MyCCC account, or over the phone @ 928-226-4237.

Calling All High School Students! BNSF to Host Free Virtual Technology Awareness Event Feb. 9-11 We are excited to share that BNSF will host its 23nd Annual Technology Awareness Day celebration. Similar to last year, this program will take place virtually through a series of free events from February 9-11, 2022. Technology Awareness Day at BNSF is a local version of the campaign that aims to educate high school students about careers in the technology field, and encourages attendees to design and develop their own technological solutions to real-world challenges that are judged at the event. The theme is "Innovation Starts with You"! Sessions will include interactive activities, engaging leaders in the technology field, a college fair and much more. Good afternoon WUSD families - WUSD #2 is partnering with North Country Health Care to give families the opportunity to complete sports physicals for their student-athletes for the upcoming school year. Please take a minute to respond to these questions regarding obtaining a sports physical for the upcoming school year. https://forms.gle/1oMK4FZ1pTHc6MNe7 WUSD offers team sports to students in 5th-12 grade.
