Good morning.! I want you all to know that this Thursday we will be having a College Fair from 10-11:30 in the gymnasium. All juniors and seniors should attend. While we will be having quite a few schools I also wanted to tell you about a College and Career Fair that is happening at Coconino High School the same day from 2pm-6pm. I have attached a flyer for this and all students who attend school in Coconino County are allowed to attend. They will have over 45 schools and many other organizations. It's huge and I encourage attendance to that also as we usually get about 10-15 schools.

We are pleased to announce that the process of filling our vacant WUSD # 2 Governing Board seat has reached its conclusion. A committee interviewed both candidates. The County School Superintendent will swear in Mr. Steve Auld as our newest Governing Board Member, filling the seat vacated by long-time member Herman Nixon. This is scheduled to take place on Oct 18.
Once Mr. Auld is official with the County Superintendent’s Office, he will take the oath and then take his seat on the Board. Please help us in congratulating and welcoming Mr. Auld to the WUSD # 2 Family.

Good Afternoon WHS Community! Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 12, 2022 is picture day at the high school. Packets were sent home last week if you are interested in ordering pictures. Pictures will take place in the morning.
Any student in the 10th and 11th grade who is taking the PSAT tomorrow must arrive early to school. Since tomorrow is also picture day any student taking the PSAT who wants to get their picture taken should be at the high school no later than 7:30am.
Thursday October 13 WEMS invites you attend Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences from 1:30-6:30 PM. K-6 teachers will be in their rooms, 7th & 8th grade teachers will meet with you in the gym.
Students will be released at 12:45 that day.
There will be no Falcon Flyers on Thursday Oct 13.
At conferences we will have our Fall Parent Survey available. We will also be asking families to update their contact information to help us ensure effective communication.
