Camp Civitan will once again distribute food at the Williams Rec Center Friday from noon -2pm. Any child under 18 is eligible. They will receive 3 bfast and 3 lunches.

Please check out today's paper for the annual special WHS Senior insert, along with articles in the paper re: Graduation on the 29th and Fireworks tomorrow (the 22nd).
A free copy of the insert is outside the main entrance to the HS, with a rock on top. Please take a copy and replace the rock.
NOTE: We are asking that no one be on the football field during the fireworks show. This was a simple miscommunication. Our apologies for the error. Please do your best to help us follow social distancing guidelines (6 ft apart). Thank you!

Hey Falcons--one of our special traditions at WEMS is to have the entire staff wave good-bye to students on the last day of school. Of course, this year, it'll be a little different. However, we're still inviting all Falcon students to WEMS TOMORROW, Thursday, May 21st from 10 to 11 a.m. Come drive through the WEMS parking lot and commemorate the end of the 2019-2020 school year with us. Our staff will be outside of the school at that time to wish all of our students a Safe and Happy Summer and hand out special treats. Hope to see you tomorrow!

Seniors: Message # 3: This one is easy. Be on the lookout for a little something in the mail this week from your WHS family that misses you all so dearly!
WHS Message # 2: WHS will have an in-person, voluntary Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2020 on Friday May 29th @ 7 pm on the WHS Football Field. Seating will be limited to 6 people per graduate, not including the graduate. Guests should be a max of 6 immediate/nuclear family members living in the same household, or a max of 6 immediate/nuclear family members that live in a dual household situation. Dual households will be seated with social distancing from one another. More details to come in our online invitation link that will come out shortly. We know there are going to be questions. Your patience is greatly appreciated. More info will continue to roll out to each of you.

Friday, May 22nd, at 20:20 pm, we will light the football field/scoreboard for the final time for the Seniors. At 8:30 pm, there will be fireworks! Senior names will be read over the loudspeaker & 3 fireworks will be sent up into the sky for each senior, followed by a 2 minute long Grand Finale. We ask that you help us observe social distancing by staying in your vehicles and/or along the fences and that we park all along W Sheridan Ave, S 9th St., S 7th St., and W Oak St. in a box/square all around the block/school that has a view. Please avoid the baseball field during this time. Thank you!

Our good friends from Camp Civitan will once again be distributing meals from the Williams Rec Center from noon - 2PM today, Friday, May 15th. They will give out three days worth of food for every child under 18. Thank you Camp Civitan!!
Greetings Class of 2020! Things are starting to come together for the end of our school year. Please be paying attention to texts, phone calls, emails, etc that will start to trickle out early next week re: Graduation, Senior Trip Reimbursements, Diplomas, other news, etc.
Our first bit of information to get this ball rolling is for us to ask for those of you who need a cap and/or gown to please text Mr. Evans at 623-282-4965 and don't forget to include your size and say whether is a cap, a gown, or both that you need.
