Greetings WHS Families: WHS is excited to announce that on Friday, May 15th, at 12 noon, WHS will post a video to our Live Feed on our district website and to our district Facebook page, of the (now virtual) WHS Annual Awards Night. WHS will announce this year's scholarship winners, Valedictorian/Salutatorian/Historian, and Academic Achievement Awards. The video will remain on these two sites, so watching it "live" is not necessary. Those Seniors receiving a scholarship award will receive a personal phone call invite (to watch the video presentation) from Miss Laci.
On May 20th, the Williams-Grand Canyon News will print an article for all the award recipients. We hope you will sit down with your high schooler and watch this great community event!
-Mr. Evans and the WHS Family-
A big shout-out to our District Office staff today! They are the gears that keep the machine running behind the scenes. They work tirelessly and are always there when you need them.
WUSD has a small army of amazing support staff and there is no better time to celebrate them than this week! From office staff to classroom aides to maintenance/custodial staff to program specialists and our school health aide, these folks make our schools a better place for students, day in and day out. We heart our WUSD support staff!
Text 2 of 2 to our Seniors:

Greetings Seniors and Parents/Guardians of Seniors: WHS is asking, if you haven't sent one in already, to send us a nice senior portrait (not a selfie) of your Senior for our pole banner project that we are working on for Route 66/Main Street. We are asking for this by Monday morning (May 11) at 8 am. If we don't receive a nice, high resolution senior portrait of your senior, no worries, as WHS already has a photo of your senior from picture day earlier this year.
We have some great things lined up for our Seniors that many of us are working tirelessly on to make it happen. Stay tuned!
