The Coconino Association for Vocations, Industry and Technology (CAVIAT) is a Career Technical Education District (CTED) offering Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs on our member district high school campuses as well as on established central campuses throughout Coconino County.
The education opportunities provided by CAVIAT fill an essential niche and create relevance in education for many students seeking careers and/or higher education beyond high school.
The mission of CAVIAT is to provide students with the opportunity to acquire career related skills and ethics needed to become responsible members of society.
Priority Registration is going on now until March 13th. CAVIAT is registering students for programs such as Business, Bioscience, Construction Technologies, Computer Information Systems, Early Childhood Education, Emergency Medical Services, Engineering Sciences, Hospitality Management, Law and Public Safety, Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, Pre-Health Careers, and Veterinary Assistant.
CAVIAT is preparing the youth of today for the jobs of tomorrow.
Williams High School will have a representative from CAVIAT here to present and answer your questions on Wednesday February 26 at 5:30 pm in the WHS Viking Grill. Any students or parents grades 9-12 who are interested should attend.

Sending a big falcon shout out to Mrs. Viloria, a teacher in the special services department. She works with students in grades 5-8. She has a wealth of knowledge about supporting exceptional students. She cares deeply about her kids. Thanks for all you do! #thewilliamsway

Attention WHS Juniors & Seniors: This Thursday (2/13) WHS will be administering the ASVAB to all 11th grade students & any 12th grade students who signed up for it from 8-11:30 in the WHS Gym. The 11th grade students have the ability to have their parents opt them out of this test. If a student is opted out then they will attend their regular classes as scheduled. While the ASVAB is used for military placement, it can also be used for career exploration. Our counselor Mr. Powers will be attending training soon to hone in his skills in using this test in a non-military way to help undecided students explore many different (other) career opportunities. jpowers@wusd2.org
